BK Plus Workshop for Young People

About the Event

The BK Plus event brought together youth workers and young participants in an engaging, hands-on learning environment focused on building foresight capacities and future-thinking skills. Participants were first introduced to the concept of foresight and the broader objectives of the FYI project, including its key outputs such as the FYI Manual, which served as a central resource throughout the session. 

Through a dynamic workshop structure, participants explored the full foresight pathway, from initial exploration and horizon scanning, to imagination and envisioning alternative futures, and ultimately to action-oriented thinking and future planning. The session was highly interactive, making use of multiple spaces to allow smaller groups to work in parallel on collaborative exercises (such as trend identification, the 2x2 Matrix, and Backcasting) and discussions, among others, fostering deeper engagement and participation.
