O podujatí
The workshop was an interactive, participatory foresight session designed for university students in public administration and political science, focusing on the future of governance, civic engagement, and public policy in Slovakia up to 2050. Through discussion, group work, trend exploration, and the Future Headlines activity, participants reflected on key long-term challenges, including youth retention, housing, digital public services, demographic change, and climate-related pressures.
The session encouraged the students to connect present-day developments with possible future outcomes and to consider what kind of Slovakia they would like to live in. In doing so, the workshop supported critical thinking, collaboration, and future-oriented reflection, while also creating space for participants to consider their own role in shaping public life and long-term societal change.
