Foresight Workshops for Youth in Celje

The Local Foresight Workshops for Youth are interactive and participatory workshops designed to introduce young people to future thinking (foresight) and empower them to actively shape their futures. Through engaging group activities, participants explore key societal trends, uncertainties, and challenges affecting young people today and in the future. 

During the workshops, participants work collaboratively to identify signals of change, recognise trends, develop future scenarios, and reflect on their role in shaping desirable futures. Using methods such as scenario building and backcasting, young people create structured and meaningful visions of life in 2040, connecting present-day decisions with long-term outcomes. 

The workshops foster critical thinking, collaboration, and future planning skills while creating a safe and inclusive space for discussion and idea exchange. Participants gain confidence in expressing their perspectives, understanding complex changes, and contributing to their communities as active agents of change.
